The DeepStream Digital Impact Award
Celebrating the organisations who are challenging the status quo of procurement and supply chain management.
What a night! It was a great privilege to be involved in this year's Procurement Leaders awards to celebrate the innovative companies who are helping to challenge the status quo of procurement and supply chain management.
Our CEO and Founder Jack Macfarlane attended the event to meet with our fellow industry leaders and to present the DeepStream Digital Impact Award. There were some fantastic finalists in the line up:
- Alcoa
- BT Sourced
- China Mobile
- FLSmidth A/S
- Heineken Global Procurement
- Holcim
- Los Alamos National Laboratory
- Mars
- Shell
- Schneider Electric
- Siemens Healthineers AG
But there could only be one winner… A massive congratulations to Pan-American Health Organization. Pan-American Health Organization won this year's DeepStream Digital Impact Award because of their work during the Covid-19 outbreak. The Pan-American procurement team deployed bots, who rapidly completed shipping notification documents and purchase orders, speeding up their ability to ship vital medical supplies to those in need.
Judge’s feedback
“A very impressive entry from PAHO on automation of the procurement and logistics processes, particularly around the efficiency of distributing the vaccine to release staff to concentrate on more value adding activities. The benefits of their digital data initiatives had a widespread impact , especially at the most appropriate time which had an impact on the entire world.”
It’s been a blast to be involved in this year's awards and to continue to challenge the procurement status quo. At DeepStream we continue to live by our mission to create the most compelling technology for connected businesses to save time, reduce spend and transact with confidence, making sure RFx processes are not a barrier for doing business.
